Stones sit atop a translucent Ochoco agate back that allows the light to pass through the stone while keeping it stable.\u003cstrong\u003e A\u003cem\u003egate backing has one edge that's undercut. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eCuts are lower dome with higher bezel edges than my usual cuts. Backs are polished. \"Medium\/small\" size. Both stones come from our local regions in Montana and Oregon with the Ochoco agate back being mined by Swell.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThis new technique is completely of my own design and has been developed over countless hours. \"Kintarsia\" uses both theory and practices of intarsia and kintsugi -  seamlessly blending stone and sterling silver into these unique gems.
