Cherry Creek Jasper Earring Pair Cabochons

Cherry Creek Jasper earring pair with a velvety matte finish. This material comes from China and is a "newer" (2010) discovery. Even though it's called jasper, its not a true jasper and is actually a blend of dolomite and chalcedony. Its named after the creek where it is found and in known for its earthy shades of yellow, green, red and peach tones. 

Back is polished, flat and beveled. Coin in photo is for size reference.
