"Sun Crowned"- Brass and Oregon Sunstone - Size 6

Fit + Measurements 

-This is two rings together as one. The bottom ring with the sunstone is slightly larger measuring at a 6.5 and the top "crown" stacking ring measures at a 6. When worn together as intended, they fit a size 6. 

-The crown of this ring has sharp points and care should be taken when wearing and removing rings. 

About

This ring is a personal favorite! The crown atop the sunstone brings to mind imagery of the sun, a coral crown and an eye. The interpretation is very much up to the wearer. This ring was built with both reduction and addition methods of carving wax before being cast into brass. Where the Sunstone ring was traditionally carved, it has a more refined elegant style. The top ring however, was built with addition techniques and is more wild and organic with flowing irregularities. The blending of both refined and wild styles is one I love and use whenever possible. 

Notes To Buyers

All pieces are handmade by me in my studio - from cutting the stones myself (except this stone that was purchased from an Oregon Sunstone Mine), to carving and casting wax into metal, to hand fabricating and building every piece. This makes a style that is uniquely my own. Each piece of jewelry will contain some imperfections on the metal or stone that was left there intentionally and adds to the handcrafted charm.
